Jim Tetro is an established architectural photographer with more than twenty-five years experience. He has an MFA in photography from the University of Delaware and brings an artistic and inventive approach to this demanding field of professional photography.  His editorial assignments have included work for Travel Holiday Magazine, VW Magazine, Michelin Travel Publications, Time Life Books, The Washington Business Journal, Construction Specifier Magazine, Virginia Country Magazine, Virginia Living Magazine, Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, Architectures a vivre, Interior Design Magazine and Home & Design Magazine. Of note, he was a contributing photographer in "Best Addresses" A Century of Washington's Distinguished Apartment Houses ©1988, 2003. He continues to work for the most prestigious construction companies, builders and architects in the Washington, DC area where he is in demand for his artful compositions and exacting technical standards. He was selected by the Department of Energy to be the official architectural photographer for the Solar Decathlon in 2007, 2009 and 2011. A partial list of his clients includes:  HOK Architects, WDG Architects, INTEC Group Architects, STV Engineers, Wingate Hughes Architects, Josef Gartner/Permasteel Engineers, Davis Construction, Clark Construction, Turner Construction, Whiting Turner Construction, JBG and K3 Architects.  He has  photographed numerous hotels in the Washington DC area including The Hay Adams, Marriott Hotels and Hilton Hotels.
